With too much furor over “Forty under Forty” by one of our esteemed publication honoring people who have set an exemplary example, we thought to apply some different lens to it.

While pondering on the phrase “40s is the new 30s”- we decided to add our own quirk on how reaching 40 should look/feel like. So here we come with a BUCKET LIST (some of them are really wacky ones mind you and if you tick them- you deserve a standing ovation boss).

Date with 40 nomads- Easy !!
40 hours of non-stop driving- Mountains calling people!!
40 hours of non-stop Netflix binging- Ahh anyone can do that
Takeout from 40 cafes in a month- stress eating also counts
40 days travel for vacation- Ahh- At a stretch (okay leverage for total in a year)
40 pair of matching lingerie- Cmon Ladies- this is inevitable (Men- you score if you remember these 40 😋) .
Reached 40 inch size ever, either for B/ W/ H – you can still be a hottie
40 hours of non-stop office work- This is a sure shot !!
40 countries travelled for vacation/ work- cmon high flyers, encash your miles!
40 direct/ indirect reportees in office- if not, what the hell are you doing anyhow !!
40 books read in a year- and 50 shades still count as 1 and not 3 🤐
40 hair styles attempted- Every girl’s tick (guys- if you have atleast thought about it 40 times- you score).
40L+ compensation figure- should be a TICK!!
40 mins of body spa in Bali/ Thailand- If you haven’t done it, it’s a SHAME !!
40 hours of poker game in a month – Count all-nighter poker parties guys !!
40 subscriptions/ memberships- How do we even reach 40, if we don’t click on subscribe everytime we see it (and even You tube channels count !!)
40 mins of social media in a day (non-news)- Straight yes.
40 achievements in life (big/ small) – winning a spoon race is an achievement!- I am sure you can recall this much – apply some pressure on brains.
40 apps on phone- Easy Breezy.
Drive at a speed of <40 with a date- I am sure you have taken your chances.
40 or 0 crushes- Extra brownie points for latter !!
Know to play 40 games (indoor/ outdoor/ board)- Somewhat achievable
40 hours of work-out in 2 weeks- All the gym freaks- extra hours doesn’t count.
40 pair of shoes- Ask a girl and guys – if you have bought her those 40- two points to you !!
40 electronic gadgets (any form)- Start counting the junk earphones guys !

Somewhat progressive:

40 paintings/ wall arts- Now this needs money and passion too…
Tried weed from 40 places—you gotta be crazy for this one !
Master 40 continental recipes- and eating also counts- okay let it be !!
40 hours of golf in a month- Says a lot about your class here 🤐
40 hours of meditation in a month- Shouldn’t this be the target anyhow at 40?
40 jobs/ ventures attempted- Risk takers or Risk Averse!!
Physical intimacy with 40 – You need to be experimental for this !!
